We are a student-led organization based at the University of Calgary that promotes diversity in the legal market. The organization was created in spring of 2015 by Krista Isberg and Elysa Hogg, who identified several issues regarding the treatment of women in the legal community. CWSLA was created with a two part mission:

1) Changing the social environment in the Faculty of Law

​

2) Providing female students with mentors who embody and reflect the qualities and diversity of female students

​

Currently, we are comprised of an amazing and talented group of law students and have partnered with law firms and legal organizations throughout the Calgary area.
